The WarmBadge Intelligence Fabric returns a number between zero and one hundred. That number is not a grade. It is not a ranking. It is a composite measurement of your domain’s trust infrastructure across multiple independent signal categories.

Here is how to read it.

The Score Ranges

85–100

Strong Trust Infrastructure

Full infrastructure configuration. Clean reputation across independent providers. Strong network graph position. AI systems treat domains in this range as credible sources. This is the target for serious AEO investment.

70–84

Functional — With Gaps

Above the threshold for AI citability but with measurable gaps. Most legitimate, well-maintained domains fall here. Specific infrastructure improvements will move the score. This is where most AEO work happens.

50–69

Infrastructure Work Needed

Meaningful gaps across one or more signal categories. A domain in this range is competing at a disadvantage for AI citations. Fix the infrastructure before investing in content optimization.

Below 50

Foundation First

Significant trust infrastructure problems. The domain may have reputation flags, missing authentication, very sparse network graph position, or instability signals. AEO tools will not produce meaningful results until the foundation is addressed.

What The Flags Mean

Every WarmBadge score comes with flags that explain what is driving the result. Flags are not penalties — they are signals. Some are fixable immediately. Some require time. Some reflect coverage limitations in the current graph that will resolve as the engine’s data improves.

DMARC_MISSING

Your domain does not have a DMARC record configured. This is the most common infrastructure gap on legitimate domains. It is fixable in an afternoon and has immediate impact on your infrastructure score.

GRAPH_SPARSE

The engine’s link graph does not have dense coverage of your domain’s inbound and outbound relationships. This may reflect a genuine gap in your web presence or a coverage limitation in the current graph. Earning legitimate links from credible sources over time addresses this signal.

UNCONFIRMED_FLAG

A single intelligence source has flagged your domain but no other provider has corroborated the finding. Under the WarmBadge methodology, unconfirmed single-source flags carry reduced weight. If the flag is in error, it will lose weight over time as corroboration fails to materialize.

CORROBORATED_FLAG

Multiple independent intelligence sources have flagged your domain. This carries significant weight in the reputation calculation. If your domain has been genuinely flagged, remediation is required before the score will improve.

What To Do With Your Score

If your score is above 85: your trust infrastructure is strong. Focus on content quality, entity consistency, and earning mentions in credible publications. The foundation is there.

If your score is 70–84: identify the specific flags driving the gap. DMARC missing is the most common and most fixable. Network graph position takes longer but is addressable through legitimate relationship building. Check which flags appear on your score and address them in order of fixability.

If your score is below 70: fix the infrastructure before investing in AEO tools. Citation tracking will show you that you are not being cited. It will not fix the reason why. The score tells you the reason.

The score is not the destination. It is the diagnostic. It tells you where the gaps are so you know what to fix.

What The Score Does Not Measure

The WarmBadge score does not measure content quality, brand recognition, social media presence, or search engine rankings. A domain can have excellent journalism and score 65. A domain can have minimal content and score 80. The score measures infrastructure signals only.

That is by design. Content quality is measurable by many tools. Trust infrastructure — the signals AI systems evaluate before your content enters the picture — is what WarmBadge measures. Those are different things and they require different tools.
